Senior Pastors, Eugene and Rosemary Wilkerson

I was saved at the age of 20 when I was in the Airforce. As I began walking with Jesus learning to hear and obey His voice, He taught me the powerful truth that healing is for today. I grew up in a large denomination not believing in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially healing. Early on in my Christian life, I began to question these teachings as I studied the Bible which showed me this truth was for today. I determined to believe without wavering what the Bible was teaching me. After being filled with the Holy Spirit in 1972 I began walking in His power and gifting. Jesus told me I was to serve Him in a healing and deliverance ministry and to teach this truth of freedom and wholeness to all who would listen and desire this truth. I’ve been walking with Him under this anointing for over 30 years. I met my wife, Rosemary, when she joined my ministry team in 2015. She became the editor of my book and during this time our working relationship developed into a deep friendship. Then, in May of 2018, God showed us that it was His will for us to come together in marriage in order to serve Him in a more powerful way. We are a three-stranded cord with Jesus at the center ministering with one heart through the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit in this calling.

Associate Pastors, Ernest (Bud) and Donna Hopper

After I received Jesus as Savior and Lord in 1970, I was overwhelmed with an intense desire to be filled with His Holy Spirit and to by used by Him to minister to hurting people. I had been praying with people several years for healing and deliverance when God’s divine appointment came to both Gene and I to become a team. Our backgrounds were similar in learning the truths of healing and deliverance. God directed us to walk together as He led in unity as brothers. Our mission is to preach, teach, and heal in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ. I was single for many years until 2013 when God divinely appointed Donna to be my wife. Donna had many years of serving in ministry for healing and deliverance before coming to Flames of Fire. She is also an author of a book which shares her personal testimony of God’s power to heal and deliver. Our marriage is the perfect fit designed by God to serve Him united as one in prayer and in ministry.

Associate Pastors, Steven Njau and Ann Kimani

I grew up in Kenya, Africa. When I was just 13 yrs. old my heart was deeply stirred by God when I heard the Crucifixion story read from the Bible at church. It became so alive in my spirit I began searching for this experience again in church but didn’t find it until I was 21. At that time, after hearing the gospel preached at a funeral, I received Jesus as my Savior and committed my life to serve Him in preaching the Gospel. My spirit, again came alive, with this experience of the love and power of God to save me. Soon after this, I was ministering and preaching on the streets in Kenya. Later, when I came to the US to attend Seminary, I met Ann who also came from Kenya and was a strong woman of faith. We were married in 2000. Ann almost died from a brain aneurysm in 2014. But she was miraculously healed and loves to testify to everyone how the power of Jesus healed her. Through a series of events we were lead to Flames of Fire Ministries. Here we are able to fulfil the purpose Jesus has for us. Our daughter, Cindy, is also filled with the same anointing and she follows in our footsteps with street ministry, witnessing, praying for the hurting, and preaching the Gospel. My heart is to shepherd my family in the ways of God so in our home, we pray and read the Bible together. Our passion is to see people saved, healed and set free and we are willing to go wherever Jesus sends us with the Gospel message. Praise the Lord!

Associate Pastors, John and Kelly Houser

When Kelly and I came together in marriage, we were united with an intense yearning to serve the Lord and I began to sense, within my heart, a desire to be a pastor. I know this was put there by the Holy Spirit but I needed to wait for the season God would bring this to pass. We had a lot of growing and lessons to be learned before He would open that door. Over the years we served in Children’s Ministries and loved being with the children. It was at a kids’ bible camp that I was exposed to the baptism of the Holy Spirit. With their simple and open faith, many of them got filled with the Spirit. It was powerful experience and struck me with awe and a cry to the Lord, “I want that!” We developed deep bonds with some of them which we kept through their growing up and call them our Velcro kids. A friend told me about Flames of Fire but we waited 2 years before coming. And then, when we did, God impacted us with the tremendous truth taught here that healing and deliverance are for today. We knew we could serve the Lord at Flames of Fire Ministries and completely surrendered to His will for our lives. With great joy, we received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and in 2018 became pastors. Our yearning to serve grows more every day as we experience the outpouring of His “manna” day by day.

Music Director and Ministry Administration, Vernon and Kathy Tolson

I was on the verge of death from a serious heart attack in 1997. It gripped me with fear and the stark reality of life and death and the question, “Where I was going if I died.” I cried out to Jesus to redeem and heal me. After a bypass operation, my only desire when I opened my eyes was to see the face of my precious new wife, Kathy. She was there, right beside me. Shortly after my surgery she too accepted Jesus as her Savior. Together we made a commitment to serve Him in whatever He asked of us. He directed us to move here from Alaska and soon He placed us into Flames of Fire Ministry, growing us up spiritually on the fast path. I love music and it wasn’t long before I was working on the sound board and, with the leading of the Holy Spirit, preparing Praise and Worship Music for each service. Kathy’s many talents in office administration moved her into roles as secretary/treasurer and my helper with the music. I also took on the numerous logistical tasks involved with maintaining a meeting facility. Our testimonies together proclaim the continuing miraculous healing, deliverance and love of Jesus for two of His servants. Our desire is to be faithful in all He calls us to do.
