Key Scriptures About Faith

Published on April 6, 2021

FAITH is the divinely implanted wellspring of innermost assurance, confidence, trust, and reliance on God in all He speaks and executes.

Without FAITH, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

By grace, you have been saved through FAITH and not of yourselves; it is a gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

So, we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:6-7

Jesus said: “And you will open their eyes to their true condition, so that they may turn from darkness to the light and from the power of satan to the power of God. By placing their FAITH in Me, they will receive the total forgiveness of sins and be made holy, taking hold of the inheritance that I give to My children.”
Acts 26:18

My old identity has been crucified with Christ and no longer lives, for the nails of His cross crucified me with Him. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed one lives His life through me so much that He gave Himself for me and dispensed His life into mine. Galatians 2:20

This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness, perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through FAITH to the power of living by FAITH. This is what the scripture means when it says, “We are right with God through life-giving FAITH.” Romans 1:17

But the Holy Spirit convinces us that we have received by FAITH the glorious righteousness of the Anointed One. When you are placed into the Anointed One and joined to Him, circumcision and religious obligations can benefit you nothing. All that matters now is living in the FAITH that is activated and brought to perfection by love. Galatians 5:5-6

But no one earns God’s righteousness. It can only be transferred when we no longer rely on our works but believe in the one who powerfully declares the ungodly to be righteous in His eyes. It is FAITH that transfers God’s righteousness into your account. Romans 4:5

Jesus said: “Let the FAITH of God be in you, listen to the truth I speak to you: if someone says to this mountain with great FAITH and having no doubt, mountain be lifted and be thrown into the sea and believes what he says will happen, it will be done. This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:22-24

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your works of FAITH, the labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father. 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3

Take advantage of every opportunity to be a blessing to others, especially to our brothers and sisters in the family of FAITH. Galatians 6:10

But if anyone does not provide for his own and especially for those of his household, he has denied the FAITH and is worse than an unbeliever. I Timothy 5:8

You might begin to think that some branches were pruned or broken off to make room for you. Yes, that’s true. They were removed because of their unbelief. But remember this: you are only attached by your FAITH, so don’t be presumptuous but stand in awe and reverence. Romans 11:19-20 TPT

But also, giving all diligence, add to your FAITH virtue and virtue knowledge. 2 Peter 1:5

These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness in the FAITH, until we all experience the fullness of being one with the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 5:13

So, our conclusion is this: God’s wonderful declaration that we are righteous in His eyes can only come when we put our FAITH in Christ and not in keeping the law. Romans 3:28

Above all, take the shield of FAITH with which you will be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the devil. Ephesians 6:16

But you beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy FAITH, praying in the Holy Spirit, keeping yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Jude 20-21

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world— our FAITH. 1 John 5:4

And so, knowing and believing
and being active in all these things,
one day, we, along with Paul, can say:

I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race,
I have kept the FAITH.
(II Timothy 4:7)
Amen! Amen!
